So yeah, been a productive week for me in comedy this week for sho!  Got up 4 times so far and getting up tonight for the largest crowd I’ve ever been in front of.  Needless to say I’m excited.  Agawam, Mass. get ready for some Sunshine!  I’m basically having a bone thrown my way for providing the headliner a ride, but ya know what, I’ll take that shit every day!  5 minutes and an intro for the man!  When Spike asked me if I’d do it I told him, “Uh, yeah man, but well I don’t wanna fuck anything up for you…”  To which he replied, “Dude what can you fuck up in 5 minutes and its going to be a great crowd all there for comedy, its time to grow a sack and step up!”  Grow a sack my ass!  Realizing the opportunity I went from somewhat skeptical to 100% stoked!  Now where the fuck is Agawam!?  BFE thats where!

So in preparation of said trip, I’ve been drilling down the same 5 minutes all week.  Starting off with 2 minutes at Sally O’s on Monday, I worked on 3 quick jokes.  Tuesday at the Skellig was almost tear worthy.  I used the whole set I have planned for tonight and well, got shit for laughs.  There was one guy at the bar who was digging it, but the rest were kinda just spent I guess.  I talked myself outta beating myself up too bad as noone got good laughs that night ‘cept for a couple of the working comics.  Wednesday night was at the Tavern at the end of the World and my set went off great! It had been a long minute since I’d been there and just had a great time.  And of course, last night I got up at Grandma’s and it went well again.  So I’m hot and ready to beam out some big fat rays of  Sunshine for the big night baby! Can’t wait! Guess that brings the tally up to 110.  Still wondering when I’ll just quit bothering keeping track.  Its just too hard not to look back and keep the tally up.  Ahh well.
